To this day, the ProCommander VX is still the controller being used in the restaurants that still have animatronics. The ProCommander VX had all the same features in the ProCommander LTC, but was intergraded with Weigl's own video player instead. In 2018 due to the concern of ageing hardware the ProCommander LTC's were replaced with Weigl's off the shelf controller the ProCommander VX. The ProCommander LTC was able to be controlled by Weigl's Embedded Linux Based POE touch panel and Weigl Mobile Commander smart phone app allowing staff to start shows with ease and allowed maintenance to easily put the system in diagnostic or maintenance mode. For fireproofing or additional radio frequency interference shielding, the ProCommander LTC can be rack mounted in a 19' rack space 1.2 FCC Instruction to User with optional hardware. This was a big upgrade from the cyberstar system. The ProCommander LTC is low voltage DC devices and therefore, neither UL nor CE require safety testing. This controller had an intergraded video player that was made by CE labs (this is a separate company not related to CEC Entertainment), controlled Audio, Video, Lighting, and animatronic movements via LTC (Linear Time Code) and used Weigl's pro I/O adapters to be able to control older animatronics. The first system that was implemented was a custom version of one of Weigl's controllers called the ProCommander LTC. The cyberstar was very outdated and was not very user friendly. Their pro commander series of animatronic controllers was the successor of the Cyberstar system in early 2012.ĭuring CEC's 5th redesign of the animatronic stage, CEC was looking for a more modern way to program and control their animatronics. The following Live and Stand Alone SD Players are compatible with Venue Magic SC+ only and replace a computer system during playback of your show.Weigl Control is a manufacturer of animatronic, lighting and media controls. ControlNodes can also be setup with redundancy so if one controller fails, another can take its place quickly and easily. It means that if a single controller goes down, it doesn’t take the whole show with it. With ControlNodes you can distribute your attraction across multiple nodes which is responsible for its own part of the show but is able to cue actions in other ControlNodes as well. Gone are the days where you need to run miles of DMX, Audio, or other cables which will bring down the entire attraction if it fails. Imagine being able to use any input or control any of the outputs from any of the ControlNodes on the network, wherever they are in the attraction. Our ControlNodes can also talk to each other and work together to create a complete interactive system. Shows can be set to loop on power-up be triggered internally by other timelines, digital or analog inputs or simply begin from a command via a touchscreen or automation system.Īlthough some of our units can be used individually we offer more than a collection of independent controllers running standalone. They are designed for daily operation in harsh environments, built to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each unit in the range can operate stand-alone or can connect with Venue Magic Professional (SC+) and can be programmed to receive input from a variety of sensors such as buttons, pressure mats, PIRs and many other input devices and code. Our range of show control feature solid-state show controllers built for playback of synchronous audio, video, animation, lighting, and mechanical action.
